For the past five years Meaghan Edelstein has worked in the field of social media and mobile marketing. In 2007 Edelstein began her blogging career, documenting her personal battle with cancer. Through her blog, I Kicked Cancer's Ass, and self branding, Edelstein gained national attention appearing twice on Good Morning America, being featured in Cure Magazine and speaking at numerous conferences including Blogworld and NTEN. Edelstein went on to found Spirit Jump, a grassroots nonprofit organization with a mission to provide hope and comfort to the many men, women and children battling cancer.
Through the experienced gained from running a highly successful blog and nonprofit, Edelstein's social media passions continued to grow. Edelstein took on various freelance and in-house marketing jobs until she was hired as the sole producer for Global Strategic Management Institute’s (GSMI) Social Media Strategies Summits, Mobile Marketing Strategies Summits, Social Media Legal Risks and Strategies Summits and Blogging Strategies Summit. Over the course of two years Edelstein was responsible for producing over 17 highly successful executive level summits. In addition, Edelstein was the Vice President of Social Media for GSMI overseeing all social media marketing efforts including being the senior editor for the GSMI Social Media Strategies Summit blog. Finally, Edelstein had the privilege of facilitating Social Axcess 25, GSMI’s executive working group.

Currently Edelstein is the Co-founder and CMO of Mobile Dealin' an integrated media management company and a licensed attorney in the state of Florida. In July, 2009 more than 46,000 people visited the Great Nonprofits Web site, and 1864 reviews were posted about more than 120 cancer-fighting organizations. The 2009 Cancer Fighter Award for the Southern Region went to Spirit Jump. Spirit Jump won by receiving the most positive reviews out of all the Southern Cancer Charities including American Cancer Society and Fran Dresscher's Cancer Schmancer Foundation.
